Les Liaisons Dangereuses

Based on the novel of Pierre Choderlos de Laclos, these mid-18th century designs were meticulously researched with design prints specifically created for each of the characters. Like the story itself the designs for this adaption were centred around the intricacies of pre-revolutionary aristocratic French society. The motifs and colour palettes chosen to symbolise the complex array of vices and virtues that each of the characters stand to represent.
